This is the story of a woman made of light-of sacred motion, curiosity, and wonder-who descends into a fractured world to remember who she truly is.

It is about trauma, not as tragedy alone, but as a threshold-a place where truth is revealed in what remains after everything else has fallen away.

Guided by the presence of a divine counterpart who waits in stillness, and haunted by a distorted echo of herself sent to test her essence, she walks through suffering, shadow, and the unbearable hunger to be understood.

She does not escape darkness. She meets it.
She does not resist pain. She listens to it.
She does not stay pure. She chooses to become whole.

This story is not about being saved.
It is about remembering the self beneath distortion.
It is about the quiet, powerful choice to rise-not untouched, but intact.

It is for anyone who has ever questioned their light, who has ever been shattered by longing, who has ever wondered if healing is still possible after breaking.

It is a myth of becoming.

Linger di draftedbydusk
28 parti Completa Per adulti
Ira has always lived slightly out of sync with the world. A 27-year-old artist drifting between rejection emails and half-finished sketches, she's grown used to the quiet ache under her skin - that feeling something important is just out of reach. Her days blur into lukewarm coffee, too-loud clocks, and dreams she can't quite shake. Dreams of black sand, twin moons, and a boy with storm-colored eyes who seems to remember her. When a strange mark begins to glow on her wrist - delicate, crescent-shaped, and definitely not a birthmark - Ira writes it off as stress. Lack of sleep. Maybe delusion. Until she sees him. In the metro station. On the page. At her door. A man who shouldn't exist outside her sketchbook - but stands in her living room with a voice like silk and eyes like the end of the world. He doesn't tell her his name. Not right away. And when he does, it tastes like something she was never supposed to remember. Rei. As her memories begin to blur with dreams, and the world starts glitching around her - Ira is forced to question everything. Familiar people vanish. Reality slips. And every line she draws pulls her closer to a truth her body remembers... even if her mind has tried to forget. There are gaps in her past that don't make sense. A childhood disappearance no one explains. A voice she's heard before, whispering from somewhere behind the veil. And a pattern of disappearances that all seem to follow in her wake. Because Ira isn't just remembering Rei. She's waking something older. And it's waking her back. Linger is a slow-burn romantic mystery woven with fantasy, memory, and myth. It's about the soft terror of forgetting, the sharp intimacy of being seen, and the aching pull of a connection that defies logic, distance, and time. Some doors, once opened, don't close quietly. And some names, once spoken, can't be taken back.

Socially-anxious, troubled musician meets bubbly barista with an aura of pure sunshine. Will they be able to find what they're looking for with each other? Or will unhealed trauma from the past, a protective brother and his bandmates keep them apart? Tropes; - He falls first - Forced proximity - She is off limits - Slow burn love - Trauma put into expression - Who hurt you? - Socially awkward encounters - Hidden identity - Kinky adult content NB; This is an ungoing work in progress. It has become way longer and way more detailed than I intended it to be, solely for the fact that I got lost in the world I created and in the characters this story is about. If you're in for a long ride with mundane, human life along the rockstar drama and some tasty sexual scenes, then this one's for you 🫶 In no way are the identities of the Sleep Token bandmembers given away in this fanfiction. Names, situations and places are completely made up by me. I understand the fact that the Sleep Token members are real human beings, so their personalities in this story are what I liked them to be rather than how they might be in real life, since I do not know them at all. Stay respectful!
