"The bride is gone!"
The words echoed in the grand Malhotra mansion like a death sentence. Roohi Sharma had run away, leaving behind a wedding dress and a note that shattered her family's honor.
Amidst the chaos, a single voice decided Parvati's fate.
"Parvati will marry Abhinav. Right here. Right now."
Before she could protest, a pair of dark, unreadable eyes met hers. Abhinav Malhotra didn't look shocked, angry, or even affected. He simply looked at her, his voice like ice.
"You are giving me a replacement!?."
And just like that, her world changed forever..................................
"Let's get one thing straight. I dont love you , You are not the woman i want , dont expect anything."
Parvati's fingers trembled around the edge of her dupatta, memories from her past threatening to surface............................
You're useless," he muttered, adjusting the blanket over her properly.
Parvati stirred, her lips parting in feverish murmurs.
"Don't... don't let them..." she whispered.
Abhinav stilled.
"Who? Who are you afraid of, Parvati?"
But she didn't answer..........................
"Parvati-" he started, but she flinched at another crack of thunder.
Without thinking, he crouched down in front of her. His voice, for the first time, softened.
"Paro."
She looked up instantly, her wide, tear-filled eyes meeting his.
"Come here," he said, not an order, not a demand-just a quiet reassurance.
And for the first time, Parvati didn't hesitate. She let him hold her.
And for the first time, Abhinav realized-he didn't mind it....................
"Paro we need to talk" abhi said
"There is nothing to talk about abhi" paro replied with a painful smile .
