Lily, a five year old child loses her parents in a horrible accident. Afterwords she is forced to live with her Grandmother who works all the time and has no time for a child. Lily, not knowing what really happened to her parents, and not understanding at all, she decides to take things into her own hands. At first she killed animals because she thought her parents were lonely where ever they were. After trying to kill her own Grandmother she was sent to The House, an insane asylum for kids. There she met seven other kids with situations similar to her own. Will Lily get better and go live with her family again or will she remain in a sense of denial enough that her sanity is in jeopardy? Firstly, A trigger warning for mental health/ self inflicted wounds when reading. you're only 18 years old. your name is zoe. you always had a love for the apocalypse but didn't think it would truly happen. and you slowly learn that nobody is who they say they are. Nobody is to be trusted. Things are gonna fall apart, and nobody can save us now. This book is being rewritten again and hopefully is better than the first and second time it was published. It's kind of cringe most of the way. Wrote it when i was like 13-14 years old or something and tried rewriting when I was about 16. Didn't work. Trying to rewrite it again at 20 but i don't think the first two books are saveable. Book three so far however is going well(i believe anyway). The second book has also been rewritten and will be rewritten again. now I'm working on finishing book three. All characters are mine but ellis is not I will be changing a lot of character names again in this rewriting process in all books, ellis being the biggest.Complete
