His final job went south, forcing him into early retirement. Now, he owns a small tavern called The Velvet Ladle in the quiet town of Puddlebrook. However, trouble came knocking, and when he thought he brushed his past-life under the rug, years later it came back to torment him.

Crater Creator
A story I made a long time ago and have just recently found and done some small editing. This is the story of a small Gnome by Christopher Drinkwater, a Gnome raised by Humans and abandoned, continued to be raised alongside his people in Gwasgow. A cunning hunter's world changes when a Dwarven Royal Guard, Nalak Spirit-Smasher, seeks for his lost prince that he was escorting. The Prince carries a powerful gem called the Crater Creator with unknown properties and fears for his safe return to the kingdom. Christopher helps to receive the Prince and the gem, but to what avail and will he perish leaving his home? Christopher's life is in the hands of a drunk, belligerent Dwarf, maybe this quest is not worth the change in scenery...Complete

Doelan is a Gisler, which means that when he turns fifteen he will stop ageing, achieving eternal youth. ****COMPLETED**** "You're driving me crazy," I growled, dropping my hand down to her waist then around to her lower back, sucking her earlobe into my mouth and dragging my teeth along it. She groaned and dropped her head back against the wall. Her sounds were intoxicating. I could smell how much she was responding to me and it brought my need for her out even more. I cupped her cheek and brought my lips over to hers, just barely brushing against them. "Addie," I whispered against her mouth, threading my hand through her hair. ... Addie has been abducted and thrown into the supernatural world. She discovers vampires have kidnapped her to manipulate an Alpha werewolf. Not just any werewolf, her mate. Or so the guy in the cell next to her says. Problem is, they've underestimated her because she's human. She's going to show them how much damage a human can do. Alpha Xander's past comes back to haunt him and his Beta has been missing for two days. Xander is finally contacted and offered a deal: his life for his Beta's and the mate he has yet to meet. Arcane Grounds
Neo-Faradwyn sprawls across what was once a meeting place of worlds - a nexus point where, centuries ago, the barriers between realms thinned and magic poured into a world of budding technology. The Merge, they called it. Not an event, but a process: slow, painful, transformative. Now, in 2387, the city rises in impossible geometries. Arcane-powered skyscrapers stretch toward a sky perpetually stained with purple. Elven corporations dominate the skyline, their buildings crawling with animated advertisements promising everything from neural enchantments to designer chimera pets. Below them, the dwarven industrial sector belches steam and magical residue, machinery humming day and night as they refine mana crystals and forge techno-magical components. Between these powers exists the tangled undercity - streets too narrow for hovercars, buildings too old for smart-interfaces, magic too wild and technology too jury-rigged to be predictable. And here, on the corner of Thornwall Street and Processor Avenue, stands "Arcane Grounds" - a simple, unremarkable coffee shop. And behind a counter of polished mahogany stands Noren, owner and barista. Each morning, Noren handwrites the shop's special beverages with chalk on slate, each drink crafted with over three centuries of knowledge Noren has perfected. Here, within the walls of this quiet coffee shop, factions dissolve, hierarchies flatten, and secrets remain heard but unshared. It exists as neutral territory in a city of perpetual conflict. No surveillance runs here - magical or technological - and no outside authority holds jurisdiction. Noren enforces only one rule, inscribed in Elvish, Dwarvish, Orcish, Common, and a dozen other languages on a plaque beside the door: "Leave your weapons and affiliations outside. Inside, you are only yourself."Complete
