Alcina Cassandra Molloy clawed her way from only being known as the author Daniel Molloy's child to where they are now. She left New York and went to New Orleans for college desperate to break away from the reputation she had due to her last name. She hunted down a place to stay for a while, the only place anywhere near her college and affordable was the old de Pointe du Lac-de Lioncourt town home. When word of her father's latest attempt to publish a book, she digs her own claws in to find out who it was about. The subject? Louis de Pointe du Lac, one of the original owners of her rental.
