Samara Jadé Sartori, a born witch turned vampire, has only ever been in love with two men in her entire life. Louis de Pointe de Lac and Lestat de Lioncourt. Their lives were messy, but their hearts pulled each other together more than any anger or logic ever could. When her uncle threatens her life and the ones she loves, she chooses to erase her memory from their minds. The lives they lived without her existence is what you saw on AMC's Interview with the Vampire. In this universe, Samara tells the real story to Daniel Molloy, before, during, and after the storm that was Louis and Lestat.

A few dark sabbatical years between university studies mark the past of Timothy, who has a few more memories, of a few more things, than he knows what to do with. With the start of a new academic year, he finds old acquaintances and new friends. Clover is a witch, with her magical powers equaling those of an oven glove. And she suspects one of their friends to be possessed by a demon. Lavender however is blissfully oblivious of her friend's suspicions and thinks she is losing her mind with vivid nightmares and huge gaps in her memory. Valentina, meanwhile, would be happy with just one recovered memory. She would love to know how she became tattooed, or even just what the Chinese character on her ankle means. But, as some of her friends know, the price of that one memory might be set higher than she is willing to pay. (There are some ethically interesting choices from the main characters, thus the mature rating. But nothing graficly shocking should be included, just a couple of murders discussed that could absolutely not be avoided.) (All characters are strictly fictional. I feel this should be highlighted, for while inspiration is always tied to the outer world, imagination composes a story out of it and colors the outcome with dreams and nightmares.) For the loving royals were gone, they hunted down the wolf that ran that day and killed any wolf who spoke against them from that day, they rid the world of the cancer that tried and succeeded if only by hurting their High Alphas. The years after the royals retreated into their castle not to mingle or show love to their loyal subjects after that day.
