Buck had chosen to not tell his 118 family about his past life in the SEALs, or the fact he is in contract with them until 2028. He never thought he'd be recalled to the Navy, when the bombing happened and he almost lost his leg that seemed to be the moment everything turned upside down. He gets a blood clot tries to sue for his job and during the lawsuit he gets that big white envelope from the DOD with a big banner with the word Classified.

With one last confused and concerned look at him Eddie reached down and scooped up the envelope taking out the papers and reading through their contents. "I don't understand." Eddie was the first to leave the bar, wanting to talk to Buck but instead finds his best friend laying on the ground unconscious, and bleeding out. What will Eddie do now after seeing his best friend, the love of his life, barely clinging on to life? Will one of them confess their feelings for the other? Yes another Buck seal story not part of my other series this is a different one there will be 118 bashing in this so enjoy you can blame my parents for mentally fucking me up to write hurts stuff. Buck is sitting beat and battered the 118 has started to get physical with him...as if things couldn't get any worse he gets a cryptic message that only he understands making him have to disappear for his safety and his loved ones. Maddie and Athena are the only ones in his personal life who knows he was a SEAL and but Maddie is the only one who knows their secret code 1991-1979. He gives Athena a hug on the way home and says he loves her and will miss her than running off. He grabs a bag ripping his floor board and sighing. "Here we go again."Complete

Buck decided to leave on a rainy day. The drops of water landing on his windshield calmed him down, making the choice seem less difficult. He packed up his apartment over the past month, not rushing it, only doing so when he had the free time. But Buck had a lot of free time. So his deal with himself hadn't worked out. - Maddie had helped him pack. She was the first and only one that knew what he was doing, and why he needed to do it. The lawsuit, while a lot, he didn't think it was a mistake. Not the lawsuit itself, but his actions with the lawyer to cause all of the issues within the people he called his family. The ones that didn't talk to him anymore. None of them, except for Hen at least, still talked to him a little bit at the station. But other than that he was completely iced out. "Told you it wouldn't be that long till I was deployed." Eddie eyes widen as the deployment papers are in his hands. "Fuck this op has a chance of taking awhile."
