"The Moonlit Teapot and the Kingdom of Slightly Misplaced Things"
In a plane that exists between emotion and signal, there lies a dreamlike city called The Reverie - a place built from forgotten feelings, broken objects, and unspoken wishes.
Whenever a human heart on Earth feels something too strongly - heartbreak, nostalgia, euphoria, despair - that energy doesn't vanish. It crosses the threshold, manifesting in The Reverie as sentient beings known as Echoes: objects given soul, personality, and voice by emotional residue.
Each Echo was once something useful, cherished, or overlooked - a coffee mug, a holographic keyboard, a cracked halo, a drive-thru speaker. They remember flashes of their old lives: voices, touches, moments of love or loss - but never the full picture. Now, they exist in this liminal, neon-tinted afterlife, wandering through electric ruins and glowing mist, searching for purpose in a world built from memory fragments.
