This was a flash fiction piece that I did in my Creative writing class. Its not that great but I enjoyed writing it. 

For those who don't know a kitsune is the Japanese fox spirit. The fox is common in Japanese folklore. They have been thought to serve as messengers for Inari. They are also thought to have many supernatural powers. It is said that the more tails a kitsune has the older, wiser and more powerful it is. Kitsune are very often known for shape-shifting quite often into women. These woman would go off and marry men and were often very good wives.

A Neko and an Inu who traveled to different dimensions had destroyed the watch twice, bringing them to those worlds. After that half-dog boy did it, it was back where the last person who worked one. Finally, however, a company found those pieces of the watch. They eventually rebuilt it and put in a few upgrades. A scientist is working there, and she is a widow and a single mother of a kitsune named (y/n). Kitsunes in this world are the fox version of a Neko or Inu. (y/n) went to his mother's work one day, and they discovered something sinister was happening with the company. (y/n) then got the watch and began another adventure to multiple dimensions. He has a goal not only to get back to his mother but also to stop the company's sinister plan. Will he succeed like the Neko and Inu before him? Will he also stop whatever plan is going on with that company?

But everybody's got a past, and hers is about to catch up to both of us. I always knew there was more to her than keeping me safe during the war between Glass and Stone that almost took out a town called Dooms, Virginia. Hey, with a name like Dooms, I guess you should expect an apocalypse or two. When I was a baby, my parents gave me to a crazy cult lead by a magic-wielding, Bible-beating psycho called the Glass Man. To get his way, he was willing to kill whoever he needed to. Even me. An army of monsters and people took him out before he could. Most people don't know about that stuff. People like thinking that magic is fake and that the world is boring. They want to believe that monsters are just things you read about in books. But a very real and powerful monster is coming after Kon and will stop at nothing to get her! No matter what, I'll die to keep her safe! I may look normal, but I have a few tricks up my sleeve.
