Tsuki lived a normal life with her blended family. Her mother was the former Moon Hashira. Tsuki wanting to follow in her mother's footsteps, she started training everyday and became her mother's Tsuguko. Everything was perfect. She had such a beautiful little sister who adored her dearly and her step-father was very kind. She soon enters final selection where she meets Giyuu and Sabito, befriending the two. With a great deal of horrors she passes, and returns home. Comes a day she receives a horrifying message and goes home to a slaughtered family. Upon that day, she vowed to avenge her family and become the next Moon Hashira.
On the day she meets her goal, she is reunited with Giyuu and befriends Mitsuri Kanroji upon meeting the other hashira. Through the missions and everything life as a demon slayer has to offer, the reconnected friendship between her and Giyuu becomes an unbreakable bond and a blossoming love.
