Wounded Heart ✔
She loved him with devotion so fierce it scorched every heartbeat, every glance. He was her obsession, her reason to breathe, and her undoing. But while her world revolved around him, he remained distant-a presence, never hers. "How do you let go of someone who is the air in your lungs and the ache in your heart?" "He is my breath, and I will forget him when I forget to breathe." Memories burned bright and untouchable-hers alone. She clung to each haunted fragment, every echo of forbidden love. Until fate, honouring a promise to Aashi, forced her into the arms of the man whose heart was a graveyard. "I married you to fulfil her last wish. You will never belong here." His words cut deep-cold, calculated, meant to wound. Cruelty hid his storm. Her silence was her weapon, her pain a fortress. "You think you know pain?" she spat, her eyes blazing. "I live it every day." He turned away, fists clenched. "You don't belong. This will never be your home." Yet, in their grief and fury, sparks flew, igniting something dangerous. "Love and hate are two sides of the same burning coin." When apologies come too late, and regret drowns truth, love risks turning to ash. She walks away, her heart in ruins. He falls, shattered-vowing to bleed, to burn, to reignite the fire in her eyes. "Some hearts are forged in fire. Some burn to ashes." Eternal Temptation
. . . ❝Once upon a time, a girl fell in love with her husband and made the stars realise that they'd gotten her soulmate wrong.❞ . . . It's a daunting thing, your first love. It's new, making you unsure and doubt whether it's love or just a mere, temporary obsession. But what's more terrifying is when that love is unrequited. It's worse when you're around that person day in and out, making you forever be in agony that they will never see you the same way, forever be crying to the stars about why they're inflicting such torture by making you fall in love. Only to experience such pain, such heartbreak, such torment. That was her life. Those were her days, where she was too blinded to see the future right in front of her by thinking that her love was unrequited. Until he came along and made her see that even though first love was powerful, it was your final love - the love that your heart had locked away only for your soulmate - that held so much more power and strength, especially when you were tied together by a bond far too beautiful for words.
