And Still, I loved you.
They were never supposed to meet again, but fate had other plans. They were never strangers. They just became people who knew everything about each other, Except how to fix what they broke. She loved him like it was the only thing keeping her from falling apart. He left like he couldn't feel it. Years passed. Cities changed. Names got softer on unfamiliar lips. But silence never erased the way they ended. And when fate threw them back into the same room, One bleeding, Other one breaking, The past didn't knock. It kicked the door down. This is not a story of falling in love. It's what happens after.
Eternal Temptation
. . . ❝Once upon a time, a girl fell in love with her husband and made the stars realise that they'd gotten her soulmate wrong.❞ . . . It's a daunting thing, your first love. It's new, making you unsure and doubt whether it's love or just a mere, temporary obsession. But what's more terrifying is when that love is unrequited. It's worse when you're around that person day in and out, making you forever be in agony that they will never see you the same way, forever be crying to the stars about why they're inflicting such torture by making you fall in love. Only to experience such pain, such heartbreak, such torment. That was her life. Those were her days, where she was too blinded to see the future right in front of her by thinking that her love was unrequited. Until he came along and made her see that even though first love was powerful, it was your final love - the love that your heart had locked away only for your soulmate - that held so much more power and strength, especially when you were tied together by a bond far too beautiful for words. We expect that somehow, someday we will be rewarded. But how long can we give that love a chance? Are we really capable of giving so much without asking anything in return?
