Marinette has amnesia and does remember her past from before she started living with the Dupain-Chengs in Paris. Bruce and Selina are married and are Marinette's biological parents. Marinette's real name is Marina but she could only remember the Mari part of her name. When Marinette had just turned six, she was targeted by kidnappers who were after ransom money from Bruce. The couple managed to defeat the criminals, but they couldn't find their daughter as they had sent her away as insurance that no one could harm them but the plan failed when there was a car crash of the kidnapper killing the man who took her but also causing Marinette to lose her memory and end up getting adopted by the Dupain-Chengs while they were visiting America as they had been the ones who found her in the crash. After fighting an akuma whose power makes you relive your worst memories. She gets hit and starts to remember her past slowly piece by piece. Lila manages to turn everyone but Alya, Luka, Kagame, and Adrien against her and she has to flee back to Gotham to find her real parents with the help of her adoptive parents but she still can't remember their names just where they used to live, in Gotham.
I didn't like how season 4 ended so I'm saying that all this happens before she lost the miraculous and she never loses them, cause she's already so stressed out and I don't want to deal with that, plus it doesn't fit well with the story I have planned anyways.

Almost every boy in her highschool likes her (yes including Adrien). So it's no surprise that the son of her parents close friends who has to live, work at the bakery, and attend school with her develop's feelings for her. Adrien notices this and starts to get jealous, so he better act quick! Will he be able to confess or will a certain someone beat him to it? And Ladybug and Chat Noir defeated Hawkmoth but they still don't know each others identities and the akumas only plan on getting revenge instead of getting their miraculouses since Hawkmoth doesn't order them anymore. And Gabriel is locked up in jail but the only ones who know why are the police, Ladybug aka Marinette, and Chat Noir aka Adrien. Miraculous Ladybug Season 4: The Collusion of Trauma
It's been over a month since I posted my MLB Season 3 rewrite. But hard work and long hours of writing, I can now show you all my rewrite/fanfic for Season 4. Season 4 of this show in my opinion, is better than Season 3. Season 3 did have some key moments, most notably Cat Blanc, but is still the worst season. Season 4, I see as in improvement, kind of. While watching Season 4, I noticed a lot of issues. The Character Assassination(destroying a character's reputation in a lazy/bad way), the plot holes, and a few other things. One of the things I truly loved in this season was the Cat Noir being left out arc. Although I love Cat Noir/Adrien, the idea to see his partner slowly forget about him is sad, but can lead to some awesome drama. Unfortunately in my opinion, they failed a bit. I did feel bad for him this season, but at some points, the writers make it look like Cat Noir is an idiotic, selfish douchebag instead of a sympathetic victim. I am not a fan of it, especially since I really love the idea behind it. So with the help of some rewrites, and MY Season 4 Finale, I will end this arc in the way I think it should have gone. Or at least, a way they should have done it. In fact, this is one of the primary reasons why I didn't want to do a full rewrite of the series. Because I adore this idea, and want to give it the proper ending it deserves. As always, I am here to entertain, and hope you all enjoy what I am about to write. The King and Queen had to move away from China when Marinette, their daughter, was born because of other duties that they had to do in Paris. 14 years later, Tom and Sabine drop the Princess bomb on Marinette and they have to leave to go to China to let them know that their daughter will be returning and will be the next Queen in line. Meanwhile, Miss Bustier has organized a trip to China for the week to see the Royal Families return and is offered to stay with them and have a meal to meet the princess. Marinette's parents knew about this and told Marinette. Marinette's parents also told Marinette could tell Alya and as she would be the lady in waiting. Hawkmoth follows the class to China blah blah blah akumatises people blah blah and then a huge ass fight goes down between Ladybug, Chat Noir, and Hawkmoth. Hawkmoth is defeated and Marinette's secret of her being ladybug gets out. Her parents are shocked and angry and happy at the same time but are worried for their daughter's safety. The tone of her voice was off. "What are you talking about, Princess." She frowned at him, the blue light in her eyes dying out. He shook his head as she started to fade in his hands. "Who are you?" He yelled her name but couldn't reach her anymore. She was leaving him! Someone was shaking him as he was being woken up. He had to get her back! He woke up to Felix and Plagg looking at him in sorrow. He couldn't speak as he just grabbed his hair. He was nothing without his safe place but that place was locked away in her forgotten memories. ------------------------ Adrien Agreste only had a month left to graduation but he had lost one of the best things school gave him. Marinette. The accident took away more than just his love for his father but also the love of his life. No one will let him go near her to tell her everything she's forgotten.
