Hierarchy

Kaadineq Lyberth (or "Kari" as people call her) is the guitarist, writer and frontwoman of her pop-punk band, Crossword, among with her friends. From the age of 10, she had aspired to be in a band - no particular role, just to be in a band. Her dad was going to throw out his old yet undamaged guitar one day until Kari, as a young girl, stopped him. "I want it," she said. From that day on, her family were given an indirect performance every night from her room.

Linnet Maye, however, is the epitome of a nobody. No one knows her other than family and a couple friends, and maybe the odd person she passes while walking down the street. She does want to get far though, her hand-me-down CDs from older cousins inspired her to get involved with music - but she couldn't do that without actually seeing and hearing live music before.

After Crossword's first ever gig (so early that they were performing their unreleased first album), and in the same venue, Kari and Linnet meet. And they learn a lot about eachother, but they are afraid to be seen together by the public due to the hierarchy of band member to fan.

They try to get through it together.
