She had loved the sea in her first life. So much so that her second was spent underneath the vibrant waves that covered Lemuria. Except, she knew how this would go; how the little sea god that wandered these halls would betray them. She knew her end would come soon, with the monsoon of the main character's arrival. She expected it. What she didn't expect was waking up after the fact, over and over again. Aphrodite was tired of living without end. The jelly fishes are walking free now, and if she wanted to be free too, she's going to have to find Rafayel and shake him until she dies permanently. Formerly known as "The God of Nothing"

"i do not understand why i have this sense of longing to feel the ocean on my feet. i do not remember why i wanted to badly hear the breeze and watch the waves crash into the rocks. i do not remember why i've always felt this melancholic tranquility whenever i see the calmness of the ocean and why i have faint memories of listening to the humming of the waves. what was i to you, rafayel?" or; catherine, rafayel, and why the price we pay for love is grief. love and deepspace alternate universe | oc | oneshot | rafayelmc | 17.7k words started: february 2025 ended: february 2025 status: complete
