In 1928, the town of Blackwell is a relatively small hub in Australia with a Great War behind them and an economy that makes maintaining employment a struggle to say the least. Jack and Fanzuela Stone live comfortable lives with their two children. Jaxon in particular is well respected amongst the local mining community in Blackwell, but like all small towns, news travels quickly. Bodies have been appearing in various places around the community and the condition of the corpses is so twisted and defiled that local police have hypothesized the killer is either very mad or perhaps... very hungry. Can Jaxon maintain his employment in the mines, provide for his family and protect them from whatever evil is picking off the townsfolk one-by-one?
