Chains rattle...Groan...Scream

He gasped awake. A dream? He frowned when felt his arms tied with cuffs.

The cold metal cut into his wrists, arms suspended high above his head by thick chains that rattled with every tiny movement.

The feet barely grazed the damp, concrete floor, forcing him to balance on the tips of his toes to relieve the pressure. The air was heavy with the stench of rust, sweat, and something more haunting-something metallic and sharp.

Blood.

Hyunjin blinked, eyes adjusting to the dim, flickering light. Shadows twisted and curled beyond the iron bars of the cell. The only thing visible in this suffocating darkness.

His breath was shallow, body trembling not just from the cold but from the sheer unknown of where he was and what was about to happen.

A metallic clang echoed from somewhere down the hall. Footsteps followed, slow and deliberate.

Hyunjin's heartbeat quickened, the instinct to struggle against his restraints overwhelming, but the chains held firm. Panic clawed at his throat.

The steps stopped.

A lock turned with a loud click, and the heavy iron door groaned open.

He held his breath.

A figure stepped into the faint light, dressed in black. Tall, broad-shouldered, their face hidden behind a smooth, expressionless mask. A gloved hand reached up and adjusted something on their wrist, a sharp beep filling the air. The pulse pounded in his ears.

"Awake already?" A distorted voice filled the space, mechanical yet dripping with something close to amusement.

Hyunjin gulped...
