He tried everything but nothing worked. he never thought only a single act of pity will lead his life to this.
he never thought all his dreams will forever stay as dreams. he even tried to take his own life to get rid of that monster who loved him too much. but it only make things worser as it only destroyed all his dignity and privacy.
He couldn't even go to the bathroom alone by himself anymore, not even can hide anything from itachi. His day start with embarrassment and ended with it. While the Uchiha's younger brother was another problem, teasing and mocking him to dead.
He was this depressed that he lost all his will to live anymore and tried to end his live many times that Itachi chained him up on the bed, to make him more badly humatilated and embarrassed to not try anything like that again he of course chained him up, naked and also put a thick chain on his private area. At the end he finally broke Deidara completely, Itachi didn't realized his love for him was more like a obsession until he started to notice difference in Deidara's behaviour as he suddenly become submissive and stopped resisting. Deidara had to face death many times and he only found peace when he got seriously ill for sexual assaults and stayed unconscious on bed most of the time for what he didn't needed to see Itachi's face.
