Kyouka Fujisaki had always dreamed of becoming a famous fashion designer, surrounded by the people she loved-Mikey, Draken, Chifuyu, Baji, Mitsuya, Takemichi, Nahoya, Souya, Pah-Chin, and the others. They were her family, her greatest supporters.

But she never knew who they really were.

One night, she was kidnapped by a rival gang, tied up, and held hostage. Fear gripped her as she struggled to understand why they wanted her-she was just a designer, just an ordinary girl.

Then, they arrived.

Mikey stood at the front, eyes dark and dangerous, the others surrounding him like shadows. The gang holding her froze in terror. Tokyo Manji Gang had come for her.

The battle was brutal, fists flying, blood spilling-until Mikey himself untied her, his voice softer than she'd ever heard.

"You're safe now."

But she wasn't.

The shock was too much. Her body shut down. When they brought her home, she collapsed, bedridden for days. Feverish, confused, overwhelmed.

She didn't hate them. She couldn't.

But as she lay there, staring at the ceiling, one thought echoed in her mind-

"How did I never see it?"

And now, she could never unsee it.
