Jason has always been seen as the disappointment amongst his family to the point where he starts to identify with that and let that control how he treats other people. He seen as a bully to most of his peers, troubled to some but hated by many, and that's never really bothered him until he starts to lose the things that matter to him.

Jessica has always strived for perfection in everything she does, whether it be academics, or music and she holds herself and others to the highest of standards, and has a strong sense of justice, especially when it comes to her friends. Someone close to her gets hurt, by someone she's even closer with, and relationships falter but do her high standards matter more than the important things like family.

Jason and Jess both possess extreme guilt for different things and struggle to find forgiveness from others and themselves. Whilst they are on the path of forgiveness and identity, do they grow closer?
