In a world where myth and reality collide, nine-year-old Issei Hyoudou and Irina Shidou stumble upon a hidden cave while playing with a lost girl named Shirone. When Issei and Irina put on the rings, their lives change forever. Zerothar and Astrivalia awaken, revealing their power to the children and summoning Ddraig, the Red Dragon Emperor, after recognizing Issei's latent Boosted Gear. Together, the Dragon Gods and Ddraig decide to train the children in secret, teaching them to control their newfound power, unlock their magic, and conceal their terrifying presence from the world.

As their training intensifies, so do the mysteries surrounding the Longinus, their connections to the dragons, and the fate that awaits them. Issei Hyoudou, a boy too familiar with betrayal and deception, had his final straw of betrayal when his own brother who had mistreated him stabbed him in the back.
