Since Y/n remembers his life has been a living hell, first a hell where needles and death were everywhere, and a second one where he was starved and used as toy by the ones who took him in.
All will change by accident, after another day filled with death, Y/n managed to find a new life, maybe a miracle, or maybe just pure luck. What comes after is a journey of healing and of accepting himself, and of learning that he now has someone who loves him... a big sister who would teach him how to live freely.
Follow Y/n's journey as he heals from the wounds of the past and discovers that even among all the horrors of life, one can find beauty and meaning in all of it.

Y/N didn't live the best of lives. At the young age of eight he came home to discover his parents murdered. It was later discovered that ghouls were responsible. Not having a whole lot of family he moved in with his aunt who'd neglect and abuse him. His whole childhood he grew up alone until high school came along and he met a friend by the name of John. He's what got him through those four years by simply being there for him. Unfortunately he to was killed by a ghoul. Y/N had nothing. Wanting to just escape everything at the end of high school he enlisted in the US Army Rangers. During his five years of service he was stationed in Japan he enjoyed the city of Tokyo a lot. By the time he retired he decided on moving to Tokyo where he quickly picked up Japanese. With the money he got from the military he bought a small bookstore that had an apartment just above it. The area of Tokyo be lived in had very few if any ghoul attacks. His view on them changed over time as he'd be rescued by one on his way back from a store. Eventually he'd begin to not only sympathize them but understand them. One day Y/N decided to head to a local coffee shop where he laid eyes on what he thought was the most beautiful woman ever.
