if crushing insects is normal, if killing small, helpless animals doesn't make you a "bad person," if swatting something out of existence is just natural-

then why is it so wrong when it's a human?

the bugs had families

the spiders had lives too

but you don't cry for them, do you?

you don't scream when they're crushed beneath your shoe.

so why is it only wrong when i do it?

you stare at me like i'm a monster. like i'm supposed to be a villain in your story, you're so hell bent on believing i'm wrong for hurting people.

but i had a reason.
i had purpose.
