13 year old Kale Morton has grown up in an abusive household with her alcoholic and drug addictied mom and her mom's boyfriend. When things get out of hand, and Kale is forced into the foster care system, her life is turned upside down. On top of being in foster care... her mom's boyfriend is still on the streets, causing Kale to fear for her life. Can Kale Survive the System? Only time will tell.
