Elise Adler, a 21 year old woman, once attended Martini University but was compelled to withdraw abruptly after only one semester, for reasons shrouded in mystery. Exceptionally intelligent since childhood, she was raised solely by her grandparents, having never known her real parents...or so everyone believed.

They weren't exactly poor, her grandparents were well off. Perhaps more accurately described as upper middle class, so she never really struggled financially. She had earned a scholarship to Martamonte University, one of her dream schools ever since she was young. Though her grandparents insisted on supporting her even without the scholarship, Elise gently refused their offer. According to her friends, she was an exceptionally kind and warm-hearted young woman.

After finally setting foot on campus, she encountered none other than Yelena Frances, the principal's enigmatic daughter. Elise hadn't anticipated that this woman would be both cruel and captivating in equal measure.
