Chasing Shadows follows Phoebe Roberts, the daughter of South Africa's Minister of Police, who becomes the target of a dangerous stalker. As the threats escalate, her father hires Xavier Le Roux, a stoic ex-Secret Service agent, to protect her. Resisting the constant presence of her new bodyguard, Phoebe's frustration grows as Xavier remains indifferent and focused solely on his job. But when the stalker's psychological attacks turn to physical violence, Phoebe finds herself trapped in a secluded safe house with Xavier in Rustenburg, where forced proximity stirs a volatile mix of attraction and tension.
