Five years have passed since Marcel defeated Klaus and separated the Mikaelson family. A prosperous New Orleans welcomes the Originals back after being awakened by Talia and Hayley, seeking a cure for their family.
The vampire family has barely settled in when a new danger arrives in town: a dark and extremely powerful magical force that kidnaps young children and seems to threaten the entire city, but which particularly seems to affect Hope.
