The humidity of what will soon be summer break has settled over the excited duo, the first day of the next 3 months of freedom drawing ever nearer. It had taken a lot of begging on Ben's part to convince his parents, uncle and aunt, and his grandpa to let his best friend since he could walk come with him and his Grandpa Max on their summer break adventure. Ben eagerly shoved clothes, toiletries, games consoles, and a few other miscellaneous things into his suit case while shoving dirty clothes and food wrappers under his bed to make it look like he actually cleaned his room while also makingspace for his friend to stay the last week of school with him. His family had asked the other's if it was alright that their son stayed over with them for the night so that it would be easier for Grandpa Max to pick them up after the school day was done. Without much need for convincing (or seemingly any care), the (L/N)'s agreed. With a final shove on his suitcase to close it, Ben sighs and sits on his bed, waiting impatiently for his travel buddy to arrive. He can't wait to see what they'll do, and what possible adventures they'll get into.
