My uncle said, "You look like you stole a watermelon-that's a boy." Even the family dog wagged its tail differently when she walked by. So, my mom, in all her confidence, only picked a boy's name: Maxwell.

"Alpha I'm going to start work, did you need anything before I did?" I ask hoping I can get out of this room. I didn't know why they were talking about me but I was sure it wasn't good. "Yes. I'm sure you recognized his name." Alpha says. I just nod in reply. Alpha Andrews was alpha of a nearby pack that had been wanting a treaty with us. A treaty covered a lot of things. It just depended on the two packs. A little fear tickled my brain. It was not unusual to give Omega's as part of a treaty. It was also not unusual to keep their kids when you sent the Omega to another pack. "Your alpha and I have joined in a business venture with a pack angle. I have land I want to build on, he has the ability to actually build. With this venture we'll both gain a lot. But we want to make an agreement, you know that if a pack mates inside the lines too much they can eventually start inbreeding. We'll make a treaty of mating. A few years of that and the two packs will be stronger and with the build we'll be financially well off." I nod and swallow. "Yes, I've heard of treaties like that." When All Else Fails

This moving every year was getting annoying. I liked my job as an engineer but I followed the projects and most only lasted a year or so. I'd finished another and had to move again. Each time I moved I had to find a new Hyena pack. I was only half Hyena the other half wasn't something I liked to tell people. It had caused me to lose more than one boyfriend. No one wanted to claim a Hyena that was half swan. Those who liked me as a Hyena, since that was my shape, weren't so interested in having pups that might actually be Cygnets instead. I always told Alpha's my second half because I didn't want it found out later and have trouble because of it. My new Alpha had given me a room here in the rather large pack house. We'd gone all over and then she'd turned me over to the guy who roomed next to me. Jeff. "I don't mind if he wants to tag along after me for a time." Had been his answer to the alpha when asked if he'd show me around. I'd spent a couple days now just learning the lay of everything with the new pack.Complete

And then they started to have feelings for each other after some time Noah left Rose due to some circumstances. But Noah didn't let Rose know what was the reason behind leaving her. Noah messaged her saying he wants to break up with her. those words broke Rose very badly which left a deep scar on her heart. every day Rose thought he will come back she was waiting for her every day thinking for a reasonable reason but only his memories were left. One day Rose's father said very cruel words which made her leave the house. she left the town she was living in and went to another city where she once again crossed paths with Noah.Complete
My Barren Wife
Mpho and I have been together for eight years and married for six. We met in my third year of varsity.I was twenty one and he was twenty two. We became friends as he and my best friend's boyfriend, who is currently her husband, are best friends. I wasn't looking for a relationship. He just happened. I had broken up with my childhood boyfriend of seven years.(Yes! I said seven years but that's a story for another day) back to Mpho and I ,we built everything From scratch, the company he works for my provident fund helped him start it up with his best friend KG. I used to work as an Account at Investec Bank, I graduated with cum laudes, so I was headhunted, the world was my oyster. I wanted to go to New York and work in Wall Street for a few years then settle down. Mpho had different plans. He proposed marriage and told me nothing will change,silly naive me fell for that.I turned down New York because what kind of wife leaves her husband for a year unattended,who's going to cook for him ,clean for him and take care of his needs they said.Like I was some live in maid. Mxm!! He asked me to quit my job when business was doing well. We wanted to start a family and we were not getting lucky. He convinced me that it's my job thats giving me stress and if I was more relaxed we would probably conceive.That however was also not the case,we have spent over 800k on medical bills trying insemination and tests but we have not been lucky. My mother, as a prayer warrior, has taken me to church for prayers. Nothing happened.Other than Mpho's family giving me names and his mother disrespecting me and degrading me in front of other family members. My husband had failed to protect me or reparmend them. Instead now he has also joined in on the abuse.
