Story 6 in a series of 6. Follows: Let Them Eat Cake A Love Like That Runaway DoubleFace Food Of Love Michael Giles, average looking, 43, bisexual, alone, sad and craving company he confides in his company president and friend, Henry Westlake. Invited to family night with Henry and his husband, Henrys friend George and husband Aiden, Connor and Blake and Steve and Nick, Michael definitely feels the odd one out, but they're a friendly group and he soon realises that it's okay being the only single one, the group never makes him feel left out. Michael quickly relaxes and begins to enjoy the evening, that is until someone walks into the pub, a friend of Steve and Nicks, the therapist that helped Blake and George over their awful pasts. That therapist is a blast from Michaels own past, a lost love that he never really recovered from, the one he thought was forever, but lost over a silly disagreement.. Grant Robinson is anything but average looking, hair whiter than snow and heterochromic eyes make him stand out in any crowd making him a target for bullying in uni, fuelling his desire to help others. Grant is back in town after a few years working away in the city, returning to his safe place after struggling with his own issues and unable to settle in London. Michael remembers what they meant to each other, but will Grant remember him the same way?. Michael isn't even sure he can cope with being near Grant again, Grant rejected him 20 years ago and he hasn't heard from him since. Neither knows each others past. What if he catches feelings again?. It could never work, right?. The premature death of his mother when he was just a child, the murder of his father, several failed relationships, broken trust and a deep seated fear of rejection have held him back for years. Will the return of Grant Robinson be the kind of therapy Michael needs? ******* Cover art is not mine, credit to the artist Do not plagerise my work, I wouldn't do it to you.

They performed her last rites. While she was still alive. Akshara Maheshwari was erased from her own family before she could even understand what she had done wrong. Abandoned, forgotten, and declared dead, she disappeared from the world that once called her blood. Years later, she returns - not as a broken child begging for answers, but as AK - a name the world admires, fears, and follows. She doesn't come back for forgiveness. She doesn't ask for love. And she doesn't reveal herself easily. Because some wounds don't need apologies - they need truth, power, and reckoning. As the Maheshwaris celebrate, lie, and protect their secrets, the past claws its way back into the present. A past involving betrayal, silence, a sold child, and a savior who changed her fate. What happens when a family realizes the daughter they buried... is the woman who now controls their empire? And what if revenge isn't her goal - but taking back what was always hers? A story of abandonment, survival, silent revenge, and a girl who learned to smile while planning her return. Read to find out: Will the truth destroy them... or will Akshara destroy the truth first?
