Y/N has always been seen as the little sister who needs protecting-especially by her overprotective big brother, Jay. He and the rest of the ninja refuse to let her train or fight, convinced that if she's scared of spiders, she has no chance against real enemies. Frustrated but determined, Y/N secretly trains on her own, proving to herself that she can handle danger.

But Y/N has another secret-one even bigger than her hidden strength. For almost a year, she has been in a secret relationship with Lloyd, knowing full well that if Jay found out, he'd completely lose his mind.

When a powerful new villain threatens Ninjago, Y/N is forced to step out of the shadows and prove that she's not as helpless as everyone thinks. But when a dangerous mission goes horribly wrong and nearly costs Y/N her life, Lloyd realizes he can't waste another second without her.
