The story is set in a near-future society influenced by pervasive surveillance, environmental decay, and a governing body known as the Council, which maintains control through fear and propaganda. The world outside the city is a wasteland, plagued by pollution and scarcity of resources, resulting in a stark divide between the elite and the downtrodden.
Our protagonist, Rayna, is a 17-year-old girl living in the underbelly of the city, where citizens are monitored constantly by drones and security personnel.Rayna works in a factory producing essential goods for the upper class while dreaming of a world beyond the city walls.
One day, while scavenging outside her work, she discovers an ancient technology that allows her to hack into the Council's communication network. With newfound power and a sense of justice, she uncovers harrowing secrets about the Council's true nature and its role in the destruction of the outside world.
