In the early 1700's of London, located deep in the countryside, away from prying human eyes, a family was eagerly awaiting the arrival of their newest member. Belladonna was born into one of the most prestigious Vampiric families to ever exist. The sole heir to the throne of the Rousseaux fortune, and the throne of The Court of Vampires. Though she was born with a terrible blood disease that affected her vampiric genes, and forced her to live and appear as if she was human. 
Feeling shame for their sole heir being a "mutant", they locked her away until she is to come of age when she turns what would be her 18th birthday. 
She would be eventually found and rescued by her childhood friend, Lucian Babineaux, where she would later learn that he was the one of the last living heirs to the Babineauxous fortune, and his brother would be coming in an attempt to win the throne. Determined to not let his brother win, Lucian asked for Belladonna's help in fighting his brother, and stopping the inevitable evil that will claim the land in his rule.

Blood Ties follows the story of Belladonna, a vampire girl born in the 1700's with cursed blood. Her and her best friend, Roman, need to work together to win the war that threatens their society and Bella's life. Can the two of them change their fates and save Bella?
