A post apocalyptic story in which the radioactive fallout from atom bombs caused the world to become a fantasy world with magic, dwarves, elves goblin-like people, and dragons. Parts of the old world and most of its technology remains, including some of the cities and underground shelters.
Our group of protagonists come from one of these shelters. They were born there; it was a prebombing shelter designed for a couple hundred people to live in and propagate for a thousand years self sufficiently. The only reason they wouldn't be able to stay longer is because they will run out of materials to power the reactor and to maintain the integrity of the compound. So after these thousand years they've come out, seeking a new place to build and thrive.

The Shelter
No one really knew how X's came to be. One day there weren't any, the next day half the population was wiped out. All Karma knew was that they are technological monsters, fit to be the world's biggest weapon, after the splitting particle ray which could reduce any person into air particles in a millisecond. Karma realised how simple it would be to destroy an army even with one X. They were practically indestructible, perfect killing machines, only they'd turned on the government, apparently. Upon him growing him, he got into quite a lot of trouble that at one point he got banished from his homeland. He was looked down upon for being different from others. The year is 1000 A.D, you follow the story of two brothers born in a small kingdom in all of mankind named the Kingdom of Elvon both of the brothers immortal due to their souls changing turning them into powerful beings who will hopefully end the war for good. Or make it worse. Planet Earth was never the way it used to be in the past for it is shared to by seven factions, Humans, Demons, Undead, Orcs, Elves, Dwarves, and Monsters. They were all powerful factions but then one day a Great War had happened between all of the factions. It was bloody, chaotic and destructive the Kingdom of Elvon died and crumble to the ground and the brothers are the last ones alive. Will they live or die? Will they make the war worse or end it? While it's true that after Band I'm going to go down the traditional publishing path and won't post any more of my full-fledged books, Band was written from the ground up to be a fun episodic adventure for posting online. I've worked pretty damn hard on it, and I want people to read it and, God willing, enjoy it. With all of that being said, I hope there are things in this book worthy of sticking out in people's memory. It wasn't bad enough that Ben was homeless. Having a dead family nearly killed him before. Until he learned to live alone on the docks and streets, scavenging for food and supplies just to stay alive. He was actually doing well. Then, he saw the bodies washed up on the beach. All were dead except for one: a young boy like him. As they were meeting, they saw the other dead bodies... walk. How was this possible? They were already dead... but now they're walking.
