Inspired by Hannah Montana: The Movie

Nina Carmichael is a tabloid darling, a rising star with a carefully managed image, and a last name that carries more weight than she ever asked for. But when her world begins to crack under the pressure of Hollywood's spotlight-and the aching emptiness left by a father who's more brand than blood-she gets sent away by her manager. Not to rehab, not to Europe, but to the one place she swore she'd never return: her small, forgotten hometown of Stonehaven, Massachusetts.

There, she finds more than just quiet roads and familiar faces. She finds Evan-charming, frustrating, and impossibly real. She finds Sophie and Liz, her chaotic cousin and best friend who remind her who she used to be. She finds her roots in wildflower fields, summer bonfires, and a mother she never truly knew-a mother who, despite battling illness, teaches her how to love and live without apology.

As the summer unfolds, Nina rediscovers herself through laughter, loss, messy relationships, and hard truths. But when it's time to go back to the life she left behind, she doesn't just return stronger-she returns ready to confront the man who took everything from her and lied about it for years.

17-year-old Abigail Wells, known as Abbie, is shipped off to live with her estranged mother. The same woman whom Abbie has not seen since she was about three years old. Abbie's dad, Keith, is not a good guy and hates her passionately. Her home life was not good growing up yet he was the only parent she has ever known. Her only constant. Adeline Cobwell, Abbie's mother, lives in a small town, Reef's Paradise located in Florida. As the name indicates, the town is sort of a paradise for people residing there. Hidden alcove of a town, separated from busy cities surrounding it. The local saying, 'once you are here, you never want to leave,' is something all townsfolk here adhere to. Just like any other small town, Reef's Paradise has its own stories and secrets. Most of such stories are known to all the residents but unknown to the newcomer, Abbie. One such intriguing story is about the Light House, located at the far end of the town on a deserted beach. There is something about the stories, and the Light House itself that attracts Abbie even before she finds out a secret, hiding in it. This is a story about Abbie's journey to self-discovery, to learn what love and care truly mean. Being a teenager is not easy nor is peeling off layers of masks, especially when you have them on for so long. When anger is the only emotion Abbie's known to express for so long things are bound to explode. This is my first story here. Comments and feedback are appreciated. Growing up with a nickname like Misery can seem like the worst thing to happen to a girl. That is, until you find out that your father is a serial killer. Ten years after escaping the town that would never allow her to escape her father's dark shadow, Missouri Jacobs returns to Faulkner Montana with one mission in mind. She needs to settle her family's estates, then she can take that money and start a new life, maybe even with a new name, someplace no one knows her or the stories that surrounded her family. However, returning to her childhood home brings back all of the memories Missouri has been spending years trying to forget. And a chance run in with a boy she once loved with all of her heart makes not drowning in those memories over and over even harder. All set to leave, Missouri wants nothing more than to put Faulkner and everything that happened there truly in the past once and for all, but then... Another girl goes missing. Then another. Then another. Wrapped in a fog of déjà vu and separating the present from her past, Missouri is determined not to be blindsided this time. This new killer might be playing games with her, but this time, she's going to be the one to end this all, or she'll die trying.
