The Forgotten Crown

Seren has been in hiding for years. People erased her name because they feared her power. But when enemies attack the kingdom, she is forced into a war she never wanted. In the chaos of battle, she meets Valkhar, the kingdom's strongest warrior and their rivalry is instant.

"You should have stayed hidden," Valkhar growls, his sword raised against her.

"I don't hide anymore," Seren snaps, her eyes flashing with power. Their clash is fierce, but a greater enemy forces them to put their differences aside and work together.

"Why are you helping me?" Valkhar demands as they fight back-to-back.

"Because you're too stubborn to die," Seren replies, a smirk tugging at her lips. Despite their shared hatred, the tension between them shifts from rivalry to something more. As the war deepens, their bond becomes both their strength and their curse.

"Don't trust me," Valkhar warns, his voice rough.

"I don't," Seren retort.

In the final battle, Seren must choose whether rule a kingdom covered in blood or walk away from the love that caused it all. As she stands among the ruins, she whispers her last words "The idea was not to fall in love, but we did."
