Bucky Barnes x (oc) Leonora Stark ~ Slow-Burn Enemies to Lovers When she was only fourteen, Leonora was given by her father Howard Stark, to scientists who wanted to experiment and study the limits of the human body. Or at least that's what Howard thought, while he instead unknowingly offered his own daughter to Hydra. After years of experimentation the young woman was turned into Hydras weapon of torture, puppeteered to torture anyone who stood in Hydras way, including their own soldiers, including: the Winter Soldier. But after being rescued from Hydra, and finally starting her "normal" life with the Avengers, she learns how difficult it really is to free yourself from Hydra. Can she protect herself? If not, who will? Perhaps the man who loathes the very idea of her: Bucky Barnes.

Once, they were weapons. Now, they're something far more dangerous. Trained by HYDRA. Sharpened into silence. Together, they were nearly unstoppable-until their paths split in blood and secrecy. Years later, he's with SHIELD, with the Avengers, fighting for the side he once destroyed. She's still in the shadows, loyal to the system that built her. When a mission forces their worlds to collide, old instincts kick in-and so do feelings neither of them should still carry. Enemies on paper. Something else entirely beneath the surface. But the past doesn't let go, and neither does HYDRA. And in the space between duty and desire, someone always bleeds.
