Of Sugars and Fractures

Lee Jihoon's life was going great-about as great as a sinking ship on fire, surrounded by sharks.

Between balancing school, (not so) underground fights, and working under one of the most dangerous (broke) men in Korea, Jihoon had everything perfectly under control.

Until he didn't.

One misstep during a fight-just a minor miscalculation, really-left him sprawled on the pavement with a fractured arm and a dangerously low blood sugar level. It was a problem he could have handled on his own. But fate, or maybe just plain bad luck, had other plans.

Enter Hangyeoul Baek-a plastic surgeon who, for some reason, decided to get involved.

Jihoon had spent his entire life knowing that people never did anything for free. That kindness always came with a price. But Hangyeoul wasn't following the rules Jihoon had come to expect.

And that was more unsettling than any broken bone.
