Miraculous: Not Yet Gone
[Work in Progress] In the ruins of a once vibrant Paris, a post-apocalyptic world unfolds. Survivors watch the new world unfold in the desolate wasteland, still holding onto a glimmer of hope amidst the devastation. Marinette Dupain-Cheng, the brave and resourceful Ladybug, finds herself separated from her partner Chat Noir shortly after the fall of Paris. Months pass, and Marinette relentlessly searches for any trace of her partner and friends of the past, refusing to surrender to despair. With her bestfriend Alya by her side, she meticulously maps their journey through the fallen world. As they navigate the treacherous outskirts of France, Marinette clings to the belief that one day, Ladybug and Chat Noir will be reunited and can put a stop to whatever caused the outbreak. In this gripping tale of resilience and love, follow Marinette's unwavering determination as she confronts the challenges of a shattered society. ***Trigger Warnings: In this version, all the characters are well into young adult life. Roughly 23/ 24 at the time the story initially takes place. There will be some mature themes as far as violence, gore, s/a, and other sexual themes. A Miraculous Ladybug AU (In this AU Marinette isn't ladybug. Chat Noir and Labybug are bestfriends and he doesn't have feelings for her) UNDER EDITING Adrien had finally convinced his father to let him attend public school. (COMPLETED T_T)Marinette's mind is being put to the test, and as the akuma's powers are growing, since the combination of the butterfly and peacock miraculous, Marinette's life as Ladybug had been more and more stressful. She never shows this pain unless through her civilian self, and that was also at home, where she cries her eyes out every night. And every time her 3 best friends had asked her, "What's wrong?" she would always say "I'm fine!" Only to keep them safe. Adrien didn't believe her fake facade and looked past her plastic smile, so he decided to visit her one evening after his patrol as Chat Noir with Ladybug. What would happen when the breaking civilian meets the unexpected alleyway cat? Will she open her heart to him? And how long will her mask hold up? 2nd book, a dedicated fanfic to miraculous!!!!!! I don't take credits to the characters, just the story. And this is 6 months after season 3 (Marinette is still 15, and Adrien is 16). Chat Noir stepped closer, pinning her against the railing of her balcony. The moonlight highlighted the dark ridges of his mask and his green eyes shone through the dark leather, as equally enticing and mesmerizing as they'd been that night they danced on the Eiffel Tower. "I'm a cat, Mari." he whispered. He wrapped his arms around her waist and the heat from his body made her shiver in the cold. She pressed her palms against his chest and his warm breath ruffled her fringe. Chat offered her a small smile, her heart hammering in her chest. "And sometimes..." he dipped his head down to hers. "We cats tend to stray." ~~~ While out one night in the park, Chat Noir finds Marinette and tries to escort her home safely. But she's injured protecting him from an akuma and he feels responsible for her. Intent on making it up to her, Chat Noir visits her regularly to make sure she's doing well. But it doesn't take long before their meetings become more than just casual check-ups. Bad things happen when superheroes fall for civilians, but even with the threat of Hawk Moth looming around, Chat can't seem to stay away. Will the risks be worth it in the end? Because this cat's curious, And his bad luck might just start catching up to him... Minor Adrienette and LadyNoir. Based off the events of season one only and set two years in the future.
