A journey to the discovery of self set in Johannesburg, South Africa. Unathi is a young woman who escapes the clutches of abuse only to move back home. Instead of peace and comfort, she finds a home filled with neglect, more abuse and unhappy memories. As the oldest sibling out of four she ends up responsible running the household while her mother battles with addiction, rejection and loneliness. From a chance encounter with a familiar stranger she discovers love, betrayal and worldly enlightening. What will happen when Unathi finally decides to put herself first?
