A decade of memories, gone. A marriage I don't remember and a wife my heart refuses to forget.

I woke up in a hospital bed to a harsh truth. An accident. A surgery and ten years erased off my life.

The woman beside me is my wife. I remember her name. But not the love we shared. My body knows her, is drawn to her in ways my mind can't explain. She doesn't ask me to remember, but the past lingers in every glance and every unspoken word we share.

I may not recall our love, but something deep inside whispers, I was hers once. And maybe, despite everything... I still am.

He looks at me and sees a stranger. Not his wife, not his love but the girl he used to know. Ten years of us gone in an instant. I knew this might happen. I knew saving him meant losing the version of him that was mine. But I chose it anyway. Because I would rather live in the wreckage of our love than in a world without him at all.

So I stand beside him. I smile when he falters. I steady him when he breaks. I ask for nothing but give him everything, hoping that some part of him still recognises me. He may have forgotten our love. But I'll remember enough for both of us. I will fight for the man I know is still buried inside him.

Because he was mine once. And no matter how lost he is... I will not let him go.
