Along the way, Ace crosses paths with Nix, a scholarly Enderman with cryptic knowledge of the world's oldest secrets; Gorrik, a Piglin brute in exile, hardened by battle but loyal to a fault; and eventually, Skye, a fellow wanderer with her eyes set on the unreachable Farlands.

Together-and sometimes apart-they uncover whispers of an ancient force buried beneath the fabric of their world. And as the days grow darker, Ace must face what he fears most:
