When Alicia Cameron slots a heartfelt love letter into the locker of her long-time crush, Theodore Gregory, the last thing she expects is for his best friend, Nicholas Stevenson, to appear from behind her and claim that the locker is his. Unfortunately for her, Nicholas has an ego the size of the Pacific Ocean and a mouth even larger than that.

Now that her crush thinks she's in love with his best friend, for whom she has had nothing but distaste for the past few years, Alicia needs to figure a way to get Theodore to even see her in a romantic way. It already seems impossible, especially when Nicholas is breathing down her neck and threatening to ruin all her chances with him if she so much as implies the love letter had been an accidental delivery.
