Valley of souls

After the disappearance of a woman from a small town, a photograph of an unknown creature is found on her phone. Aiming to solve this mystery, the government sent a small squad of Canadian soldiers into the forest-covered Rocky mountains to investigate.

Taking up residence in an old abandoned cabin, they work on finding what exactly this creature is, until they discover something that leaves their outlook on the world permanently altered.

"Never leave the mountains" is a mantra Tobi's mother had always repeated, something Tobi has lived by for the last 20 years of her life, believing that those who died in the mountains never belonged there in the first place. Until she meets the four soldiers and her opinion suddenly shifts, leaving her in mental turmoil and her morals tested.
