After her parents death and her coming of age of being a legal adult, she becomes her eight year old brother's legal guardian. The only family either of them have is each other and with her brother, Noah, being diagnosed with leukemia, Sophie delays no time to forget her fun, teenage life and be there for her younger brother. But one day, her boring moments of waiting in a depressing hospital change when Luke Masen walks through the doors. She's left to choose between being there for her brother or finally living her summer life with a guy who might just end up falling in love with her.
