Sunshine doesn't mean I don't feel the storm."

June
People say I light up rooms. That I'm all sunshine and softness, with a laugh that sticks and eyes that still believe in happy endings.
And maybe I was that girl once.

I've spent six years loving a man who made me feel safe and seen. Aaron was everything-steady, strong, my partner in building dreams. He helped me turn my dance studio into something real. He proposed with shaking hands and a tear in his eye. And I said yes with every piece of my heart.

But three weeks before our wedding, he told me he needed to meet up with his high school sweetheart.

I said yes. I trusted him.
Then he came home and told me we had to postpone the wedding.

He didn't cheat. He didn't leave. He was just... confused. And that broke me more than anything else could.

So I canceled the wedding. I packed away the dress, the flowers, the future I'd memorized.
And now? Now I have to figure out who I am without him.

I don't know where this story ends.
All I know is-I loved him with everything I had.
And I won't beg to be chosen twice.

Aaron James is not the kind of guy who believes in love or give a damn about the feelings of any woman. But it looks like this brunette with an "I don't give a fuck" attitude is on her way to winning his heart. His inheritance from his late grandfather is the only thing that he's got chemistry with, and he'd stop at nothing to get his hands on it even using the young mistress he met in the club. Would he be tamed by this brunette with smoky eyes to believe in love, or would this jerk of a Billionaire use her to his own advantage. Find out in this tale of love, romance, betrayal and deception. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Oh, mystery man had a name, Aaron, big surprise - I could hear myself talking to me. "I'm not sure, maybe." I said smiling, revealing my upper teeth, pretending I was enjoying the company, meanwhile waiting to get the hell out of here. "We have," I heard him say. "At the club, Antonio's." Antonio's rang a bell, I had a short flashback and tried to remember when I'd met number 23, sorry, I meant Aaron or whatsoever dad had called his name. "Your body is like that of a Greek god." He said chuckling, tilted his head and raised an eyebrow looking at me like I was supposed to understand whatsoever the fuck he was saying. "Your body is like a what?" I repeated, and that was when it came to me in a flash, "oh my God."

They say betrayal never comes from your enemies. I used to think that was just something people said to feel better about their broken hearts. Until mine shattered too. The night it happened, everything changed. I lost my best friend. I lost my boyfriend. But worst of all... I lost myself. It's funny how a single moment can split your life into before and after. Before, I was the girl who believed in love, in loyalty, in forever. After, I was the girl standing in the ruins of what used to be her world, gasping for air, screaming into the silence, wondering why. Why me? Why now? Why them? So, I ran. Packed what was left of me and left the pieces behind-what else could I do? I moved cities. Moved in with my cousin. I told myself I needed a break, a fresh start. I told myself I wasn't looking for anyone. I was here to rebuild, quietly, carefully. Just me and the pain that still lived under my skin. But then... I saw him. At the club. Dark suit. Brooding eyes. Hands in his pockets like the world bowed at his feet. He didn't just walk in; he owned the room. The kind of man who didn't need to speak to be heard. I didn't know his name. I didn't know his story. But I felt his eyes on me like a touch that burned. He was power. He was danger. He was everything I told myself to avoid. But as fate would have it, the man who never chased anyone... noticed the broken girl who stopped believing in love. And maybe-just maybe-he'd be the one to help me believe again. This is the story of how I broke... And how he found every shattered piece.

What If I Was Nothing?

1 part Complete

They loved hard, fought harder, and broke quietly. Ryan and Hannah were supposed to last - the kind of love that survives slammed doors, sleepless nights, and promises said in the dark. But love, as they learned, doesn't always fade in one clean motion. Sometimes it unravels, thread by thread, until you wake up beside someone you no longer recognize. After years of trying to fix what was already gone, Hannah walked away. Ryan stayed - until the silence between them became too heavy to bear. Years later, Ryan has rebuilt his world. A new home. A wife who makes him laugh. A baby boy who carries his smile. He's finally found peace in the wreckage. But when Hannah reappears one morning, holding all the words she never said, both are forced to face the truth: love doesn't die - it changes. And sometimes, the hardest part isn't losing each other. It's learning to live with what remains.
