"What are you drawing now?" Zander asks.
"Well, I just... I **need** to get this down." I don't know what I'm drawing, only that I **need** to do it. After about thirty minutes, I've drawn the small clearing by the waterfall that flows into the river. It's the falls! We've been going there since we were kids, and no one else is allowed to go there. We put wards up to keep everyone out! I've drawn all of us standing there on the river bank, except for Zander who's in the water with Blake, who he's passing something to, but I can't make out what it is, and we all have different expressions on our faces.
I have tears in my eyes and am pale, like I've just seen a ghost. I can see the struggle in Dravon's eyes, as he battles to contain his dragon. Keelan's magic is dancing off his fingertips, reaching towards Sebastian, who looks to have dilated pupils, and a look of disbelief on his face.
Zander looks to be in despair, each eye a different colour to show they're flashing back and forth between him and Shadow, and I can't see Blake, as he's facing Zander, but he's looking down at whatever Zan has in his arms. What could it possibly be? What would cause us all to look on like that? I just can't make it out.

Koa, a 17 year old boy lived in a world full of shifters. It's his last year of high school and he is ready to be done and move on with his life. Tomorrow is his 18th birthday which indicates he will finally be able to find his mate. Throughout his first day as a senior, he found his classes and even made friends on the way. In one of his classes though, English, a conversation started on the topic of the known to be extinct dragon shifters. Even though it got dark, he remained the same and went on about his day. Many people avoided Koa due to him being intimidating. He was known for having a bad temper and getting into many fights for no absolute reason. And surprisingly, he was an omega with the looks and temper of an alpha. Excited to meet his mate, he couldn't wait for the day to end, but little did he know his life would change forever on the day he thought would be his best.
