A trio of teens find an ancient relic and find themselves being entrusted by a pantheon of forgotten gods to save them from disappearing for good. But little did they know that they had awakened monsters only thought to exist in myths and now must try by all means to protect their kingdom and save the gods while juggling mastering their newly earned powers and stopping a possible war between two kingdoms. "You should have never touched that stupid relic." "Yeah, thanks a lot." "Hey, I had no clue it would lead us into this mess!" "The cave, clearly said, 'do not enter'." "...Hey, what matters is we're alive."

One born to burn. One born to vanish. Two brothers fated to rise as gods... and fall as legends. Thirteen-year-old Arsene Zagros has always dreamed of the Day of Selection. Of standing beside his twin brother, of watching history unfold, of seeing the divine descend from the heavens to name their chosen. He never imagined that fate would arrive without a sound. Without mercy. Without warning. On the eve of celebration, something breaks. Something dies. And Arsene- smiling, curious, unaware- wakes into a world that feels the same... but isn't. In a realm where spirits haunt the night, where gods hide among mortals, and where the cost of destiny is more than just a name- a boy blessed with innocence will soon learn: Not all choices are seen. Not all guardians are ready. And not all stories begin with the truth. Author's Note: This is my first story and is based on a D&D campaign I've taken inspiration from long ago. If you enjoy fantasy, twin dynamics, and slow-burning mystery, I hope you'll give it a read. Feedback (and kindness) are always welcome :)
