Deep in the family history of the Targaryens, long thought forgotten by current generations, lies a branch of the tree that dwells in the North. Known as the Children of Ice, these Targaryens bond with dragons of ice and snow. One such child has been born after two hundred years of silence, to Rhaenyra and Daemon out of wedlock. The child, Ravyn, has been sent to Wynter's Keep to grow and learn the ways of the Children of Ice. However, will her family accept her back when she's older?

Nelaehrys Velaryon, Rhaenyra's firstborn daughter, was a child of fever and fire-her mind haunted by dragon dreams that left her drifting between brilliance and madness. Called the Broken Flame by courtiers, she found solace only with her shadow-scaled dragon, Firefang, whose strange, feline cunning mirrored her own fragile soul. Tired of her daughter's wildness, Rhaenyra sought to marry Nelaehrys off quickly, to rid herself of the burden she could not control. Yet fate had other plans. In the cold North, Cregan Stark, Lord of Winterfell, felt the pull of a bond older than crowns and thrones. Soulmates, tied by ice and fire, wolf and dragon, sanity and chaos. Their love would be both salvation and destruction-reshaping the Dance of the Dragons, as snow embraced flame.🔥❄️ In fever and frost, in shadow and flame, two souls bound by fate will set the world ablaze.🐺🐉💔
