The walk to Aston's room was shamefully dizzying, every part of Parker's being screamed at him to turn back when he reached the door, his subconscious mind is fully convinced that this would all end terribly, he's supposed to hate Aston, he's supposed to be better than Aston, not whatever this is. With great struggle, Parker shuts out the persistent voice and reaches a hand up to the door, knocking on it firmly three times with a singular knuckle.
