"It's all a part of the journey, in the end." For someone who was confused about what to do,ran away and for someone who didn't want anyone else in his life except for his friends, got obsessed with her. Alara Valeria,a girl who was 25 was forced to marry someone she didn't like. She neither wanted to marry. She played along with the family until the wedding and then ran away. For her, sucess came first and foremost. For that she wouldn't care about anything else. Kai Moretti,a guy who is a biker plus a businessman, never gave up on any of those.Well absolutely a grumpy cat who was 27.He isn't interested about anyone entering his life except his best friend, alex.Every night he used roam around the city and that night also he did. Accidental meet up turned into a strong obsession? "Tell me the truth." He demanded. "Okay. I don't feel anything for you." "Why do you always resort on lying?" He frowned in disbelief. "You think I'm lying?" she laughed. "Out of everyone here you think I would choose you? you seriously--" He walked with determination towards her keeping up the straight face and only stopping when they were inches away. The lack of silence silenced her immediately. "i-i..uh" she began almost fumbling. He chuckled. "And you say you don't feel anything."

"I can't believe you, again!" I shout the moment I enter our room, my voice trembling more from hurt than rage. "You always do what you want, never thinking about anyone else." He stands there, rigid. "I'm not answerable for every breath I take!" he bites back. The words hit harder than they should. For a moment, I can't even speak. "You are my husband," I finally say, my voice low, dangerous. "And if being with me feels like a burden, you should've said it long ago." His eyes darken. In two strides, he is in front of me, so close I can feel the heat radiating off him. He grips my chin between his fingers, forcing me to meet his gaze. "You think I stayed because it was easy? You think I fought every damn battle for myself?" he asks, his voice rough. "I stayed," he continues, softer now, each word striking straight into my chest, "because every day without you... feels like breathing without air." The room spins. I blink, unsure if I hear him right, the anger draining out of me in one dizzying rush. He leans closer, his forehead brushing mine. "You're not my burden, jaan. You're the reason I even bother fighting." For the first time that night, I have no words left, only the way my heart betrays me, beating far too fast against my ribs. π“π«π¨π©πž : β€’Brothersbestfriend β€’She fell first but he fell harder β€’Mature Γ— clumsy β€’Replaced bride β€’CEO Γ— MBBS
