A soft, introspective love story about healing, timing, and the quiet spaces where two people begin to belong to each other. Orm is an artist who once loved deeply - and lost just as deeply. Now, she's drifting through the quiet days, trying to find meaning in paint strokes and familiar places that no longer feel the same. When a chance encounter in an art supply store leads her back to a cozy café - and to the girl behind the counter with warm eyes and a gentler kind of gravity - something begins to shift. Lingling isn't looking for anything, but she notices the way Orm carries her silence. The way she lingers by the window, the way her smile doesn't always reach her eyes. And so, little by little, she makes space - for conversation, for comfort, for the possibility of more. Inspired by songs like "Pieces" by Keenan Te, "Backburner" by NIKI, "Leftover" by Jeon Wonwoo, and "My You" by Jungkook, Pieces is a story about quiet connections, the tenderness of being seen, and how sometimes, love arrives when you're not ready - but stay anyway.

Four years ago, Orm confessed her feelings to Lingling in high school-and Ling rejected her. Now in her final year of college, Orm lives quietly in a small apartment, still a hopeless romantic but convinced some wounds never heal. Her life is steady, predictable, and alone-until the vacant apartment next door is suddenly occupied. By Ling. Neither expected to meet again, and neither is ready for the unresolved feelings that stir with every knock on the door, every late-night sound through the too-thin walls, and every memory that refuses to stay buried. What begins as awkward neighborly encounters slowly unfolds into something deeper, tender, and impossible to ignore. But can love grow again between walls built of rejection, regret, and time? --- A LingOrm Fan Fiction / AU
